Desmopressin (DDAVP)
Also known as DesmoMelt, Minirin, or Stimate.
General information
Class/mechanism: Synthetic analog of vasopressin (ADH/antidiuretic hormone). In addition to its antidiuretic effects, also stimulates release of factor VIII and von Willebrand factor.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Route: SC, IV, PO, intranasal
