A category of drugs composed of a monoclonal antibody coupled to a cytotoxic drug, usually of very high potency. The idea behind these drugs is that the cytotoxic drug is localized to the target by way of the monoclonal antibody, maximizing local effects while sparing systemic side effects. In reality these drugs are still fairly toxic.
