General information
Class/mechanism: Taxane; disrupts normal microtubular function. Binds to free tubulin, promotes their assembly into stable microtubules, and inhibits their disassembly, which inhibits mitosis.[1][2]
Route: IV
Extravasation: irritant, rare vesicant
