General information
Class/mechanism: Electrolyte solution designed to mimic the ionic and pH balance of human saliva. The solution is used to help maintain moisture in mucosa of the mouth, tongue, and throat in patients experiencing xerostomia/hyposalivation or mucositis.[1][2][3]
