He has conducted studies investigating the outcomes of non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients undergoing chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies. He is involved in translational research investigating the biomarkers of CAR T-cell therapy-associated toxicities. He has also conducted several observational studies utilizing cancer registries to study transplant outcomes of acute leukemia patients and presented his findings in national meetings. His team’s work on stem cell transplantation has been published in multiple manuscripts. His current research efforts are focused on testing novel agents to mitigate cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity associated with CAR T-cell therapy.
