About this Oncology Wiki

This is a project that I have undertaken as of 11/11/11 in an attempt to create a reference for hematology/oncology professionals. Priorities of this project will initially consist of:

  • Creating a database of chemotherapeutic agents.
  • Creating an index of diseases.
  • Creating a list of active clinical trials at BIDMC that can be used by current providers.
  • Creating a list of chemotherapeutic regimens and common order sets.
  • Creating checklists that can be used for patients starting therapy with particular regimens. Areas of focus will include: informed consent/discussion of side effects, supportive medications, dose/schedule adjustments, and the chemotherapy orders themselves. Copyright issues will need to be considered for all entries. If you would like to participate, please contact me so that an account can be set up. - Peter Yang
