Schedule

Year 1

  • Outpatient clinic: 7 1/2 day clinics (1 for each disease group: Malignant Heme, Benign Heme, Breast/Gyn, GI, GU, Thoracic, Biologics). No clinic during consult weeks.
  • Consults (4-5 weeks, Dec-Jun)
  • Vacation (15 days)

Year 2

  • Outpatient clinic: continuity clinic of the fellow's choice, typically ~40 patients in 1-2 1/2 day clinics. 8 coagulation clinic 1/2 day sessions through the year.
  • Inpatient (8-9 weeks on the inpatient Hematologic Malignancy/BMT service)
  • Research (40 weeks)
  • Vacation (15 days)

Year 3

  • Outpatient clinic: continuity clinic. 8 coagulation clinic 1/2 day sessions through the year.
  • Consults (4-5 weeks, July-Dec)
  • Research (45 weeks)
  • Vacation (15 days)
