General information
Class/mechanism: Folate analog, antimetabolite, interferes with DNA synthesis. Discontinued due to concerns about toxicity, manufacturing difficulties, and rough equivalence to methotrexate. It remains under investigation for the non-neoplastic condition of psoriasis.
