Peter Yang, MD is an attending board-certified hematology/oncology physician at an academically affiliated institution in Massachusetts. He completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is the creator of HemOnc.org. In addition to the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients, Dr. Yang's interests include quality improvement and the use of information technology in healthcare. He has created other websites for the medical community, most notably DrYang.org, which was used at UCLA Medical Center, Olive View Medical Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He was Senior Editor for Ars Technica while he was earning an A.B. in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard University. He subsequently earned an M.D. at Yale University and became a board-certified doctor of internal medicine at UCLA.
