==General information==
Class/mechanism: Taxane, promotes assembly of microtubules, stablizes microtubules, preventing depolymerization.  Paclitaxel interferes with the normal dynamic reorganization of microtubules that is necessary for regular interphase/mitosis processes.  It also leads to creation of abnormal bundles of microtubules.
