Andrew J. Cowen MD

Andrew J. Cowan, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His clinical and research interest is in plasma cell dyscrasias – Multiple myeloma, and immunoglobulin Light-chain (AL) amyloidosis. He spent a year working in the Amyloid Center at Boston University, involved with clinical research and patient care. He completed both his undergraduate and M.D. degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle, and trained in internal medicine at Boston University. He completed fellowship in hematology/oncology at The University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 2015.
